Breathe...

It goes without saying that in life we do not always get what we want. Sometimes things get out of hand regardless of how much energy and effort we have put into controlling them.
I realised that I get disappointed the most, when I try to control something too much. It is because I feel that I am such a failure for ‘letting’ things fall apart. I tend to continue to blame myself causes a suffocating effect.
It is so easy for some of us to feel overwhelmed by any set-back even if it is only a minor one. There is nothing wrong with feeling this way, as long as you know how and when to come back to the surface, to breathe…
It is ok to push that pause button sometimes; it is ok to need some time off, and it is ok to not always have everything figured out.
Our bodies will most likely refuse to process all that information when under a lot of stress. Take some time to rearrange your thoughts, allowing new and fresh energy to flow in. It will, if you slow down and make room for it.
I have found meditating and breathing exercises are two things that are very helpful when I got hit by a wave of anxiety and stress. I stop, take some time to meditate and breathe.
In this world full of uncertainty, you will need to find your own remedy to get back to your state of sanity, your safe place (mentally, emotionally and physically). No matter how messy things get, always remember that you still can, and will, breathe…
Much Love,
Mon
